Frequently-asked Questions
If you're unsure of your exact shade, we recommend going slightly lighter than your natural skin tone rather than darker. A lighter shade is easier to blend and "camouflage" using foundation, since you can always deepen the colour with makeup, whereas darker ears are harder to lighten convincingly.
Our elf ears comes conveniently packed with the glue, some q-tips and a set of instructions. That's all your need for application.
We do not provide make-up, paint or foundation, so that's for you to get separately if you want to blend the colour like an expert!
The best is to use normal makeup or foundations, and apply thinly to the prosthetic and your ear to blend the colour.
You can also use alcohol-activated or oil-based face paints (Diamond FX, Kryolan or Athena).
Cheap water-activated face paint will not work very well.
Application instructions are conveniently printed and packed with the ears.
